Question Padron 1964 - Can I get 'em cheaper?

Padron 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo (Maduro)

I LOVE this cigar. A local retailer has a couple of boxes for sale, with tax, at $306.56 each. I saw them myself tonight when I purchased a single stick.

I am very tempted to purchase a box. I have searched online and seen better prices but those vendors did not have them in stock. Should I jump on this opportunity or does anyone know of an online source that has these cigars at a cheaper price (with shipping)?

Thanks!
-Craig

i won't post prices, but look here.

http://www.atlanticcigar.com/padron.html

http://www.coronacigar.com/store/pro...ay_Type=detail
these are the same price as they are with the above link, only on backorder.

i dont' have many cigar links on my home computer though...

those prices are about $50 cheaper than what you said they had them at.

Thanks, IHT. I have already emailed Atlantic and they don't have them in stock. I was advised to inquire again in 10-14 days...

My local vendor claims to have personal connections with the Padron family and says he can get 1964s easily. Supposedly, his father is from Cuba and grew up with the Padrons....not sure if he is full of sh*t or not but they do have the best selection of Padron 1964s I have seen in town. All in all they must have about 15-20 boxes of 1964s in stock (about ½ of which are unopened).

In contrast, the local Tinder Box just gets the occasional surprise box of 1964s in their Padron orders and can't get me squat.

Hmm....now that I am thinking about it...I wonder if this "Padron family friend" can get some 1926s? I haven't tried any of those. I'll swing by there this morning and find out.

try these folks out, I have a buddy who uses them a couple of times a year. Some of their prices are out of line, but the PAMs seem just about right. Great Smoke!

relaxnsmoke, thanks for that link! Even with shipping I can come out $45 cheaper ordering from this site. I emailed them to confirm that they had what I wanted in stock.

<sigh>

Thank you for your requisition. Because of the rarity and limited production of the Padron Anniversary line, we are currently out of stock. However, if you would like to place a box on back order you can do so be e-mailing a confirmation. Once again thank you for inquiring to cigarprices.com.

Padron 1926

Keep an eye on ebay, I just got a full sealed box of 1926's for $280!!!!!!!!!!! The guy I bought them from is a retired cigar shop owner and he still has tons of premium cigars (but no more 1926's) Some sticks sell for way more than common retail on Ebay and some well under you just have to keep you eyes open. But be careful you can easily get burned with fakes, never buy from anyone on there who doesnt have alot of positive feedbacks from previous cigar buyers!

take care
ashley

Check with the guys at smokeall.com. The one and only time I bought PAMs I got them from that site, best price and excellent service. SEnd them an e-mail if the size is not listed.
