Question $57 Carlito's Way or $57 toward ISOM

Hi everyone,

If you had decent access towards ordering ISOMs, would you still purchase the Carlito's Way sampler or would you put the $57 towards an ISOM purchase and skip the NC?

Carlito's Way $57 shipped
1 Arturo Fuente Anejo Special Release Cameroon Shark (5.88 x 64)
1 Arturo Fuente Hemingway Work of Art Maduro (4.88 x 60)
1 Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Wizard (6 x 56)
1 Fuente Fuente Opus X Belicoso XXX (4.63 x 49)
1 Fuente Fuente Opus X Perfecxion X (6.25 x 4

Just trying to get the most out of my available funds.

Thank you for any advice.

Carlitos Way for me personally, you wont find those cigars in B&Ms very often (or at all) and they are a steal for the price. I can understand why you would rather put the money toward Island sticks, but how often will you get a Cameroon shark or any OpusX for that price?

I would get whatever I preferred, as should you do. For me, I think the Carlito's Way is a ridiculously well priced sampler. I'd go with that in a heartbeat.

3 of the cigars in that sampler could top $50 IF you managed to find them in stores..

Re: $57 Carlito's Way or $57 toward ISOM

Personally I am only interested in one of the cigars in the Carlito's Way, so I have passed it by myself. Just bought a box of AVO 80th Anni's for myself for Christmas. However, given the choice between those and ISOM's at the moment I would go with the Carlito's Way as that is only going to be offered for a limited time.

Re: $57 Carlito's Way or $57 toward ISOM

It all depends....One hand you have a chance to get hold of some very tasty looking smokes for a rock bottom price, and that doesn't happen everyday. On the other hand you have an inside track on some good ISOM's which is excellent. That's a tough one bro, but I honestly in your shoes would go with the Carlitos Way. Sounds like you have an in for the island stogies, so unless it's a one time shot, they'll be there after the Carlito's Way is a thing of the past.

Re: $57 Carlito's Way or $57 toward ISOM

I would say the Carlito's Way just because those sticks are hard to find. It really is a great deal. However I don't know if these are still available from Holt's.

However a nice ISOM sampler is also a great way to experience different smokes. (but it still would be hard to buy a whole lot with $57)

Which do you prefer?

Re: $57 Carlito's Way or $57 toward ISOM

Unfortunately I have not had either and am a real newbie at this so I am just shooting in the dark either way. However, I think choosing what is available only now will be best.

Carlito's Way has been purchased.

Thanks everyone for the great advice for both sides!

Feel good about the choice. There are not may opportunities for ordering those sticks at that price.
