Habana Leon otw

I wasn't going to, but I did. Lately I have been obtaining some Habanos and figured I'd focus on maybe getting more for the holidays (a big fat juicy rationalization). But today on a whim I ordered 10 Habana Leons; another rationalization but one I can live with. Ever since I smoked my first one about 3 weeks ago I havent been able to get the things off my mind. Yet I can't justify getting a full box of em, because I could spend the money on another trip to the Dark Side. So I compromise and get 10 of em because I like em so much, and I can still maybe make another trip to the dark side Neat and tidy logic ...no?

I agree bro, the Habano Leons are the closest thing I have had to a PSD4!

Great smoke!

Very nice.... if you pace yourself you can age some of them and let them rest down to 65 rh. Fired one up the last time a bunch of Bostonians got together and it damn near blew my mind. It had to have had about 6 months or more on it... I'm banking on more. The burn was flawless and the woody strength really showed up.

Looked back at some inventory notes and I've got a few Pepins approaching 8 months age sitting in the humi. JJs, Vegas Cubana, and Santi Spiritus. Trying to hold off on smoking these for at least a year in order to compare to the ones I've smoked "fresh". Also got some Old Henrys that I want to put to sleep as well.

Hope you enjoy the Habana Leons, I had a few also and they were very good.

Yeah thanks. I agree with you and Stogie, and have every intention of letting some of these rest for a while. I have many smokes which I have been able to rest/age for about a year now. It does improve them and is well worth the effort. I will be interested to hear how your Vegas Cubanas and Sanctis turn out.
