camacho liberty 2002

damn tasty, my box is really aging nicely. all the sizes have taken on a deep oily sheen, and i hate to say it but these kick butt on some cubans i own. The burn is very razor sharp, and the pungent leathery, cocoa, earthy mix is really awesome..

anybody else a camacho fan?

the only one i ever smoked was a comancho liberty gifted to me at a local herf by a mr. larry david.
the cigar was a joy too smoke and the rumor ive heard was they use a small amount of cuban tabacco in these cigars.
larry says he is going to visit the comancho factory soon so i believe he will find out for sure and let me know.

that is the liberty 2003, the 2002 was different.

The 2002 Liberty was a Honduran puro, the 2003 Liberty was blended with a mix of Honduran and 41 year old Cuban tobacco. I think the Camachos are the best non-Cuban cigars out there and give many Cubans a run for the money.

camacho rocks dude!

i was in the neighborhood of a local shop recently and decided to drop in... i had $10 coming to me from the shop from since i was a cigar pup. so i bought a few pams and some regular line camacho robustos (i have a box of diplomas in my humidor). i smoked the robusto last week ... pretty damn good ... and, as an added benefit, the smoke singed my nose hairs- so i don't have to clip them this month!
