Anyone smoke a Dunhill Signed Range?

This release caught my eye at a local B&M recently, but information about these cigars is pretty limited. There arent any reviews that I can find around these parts. Any of the BOTL's / SOTL's have an opinion on these?

--- advertisments ---
Dunhill`s new Signed Range of hand made cigars are a subtle blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and South American Cubita leaf, picked from the fullest flavour leaves at the top and middle of the plants, and then aged for up to three years. Sun-grown Ecuadorian wrapper from Connecticut seed gives a flawless appearance and mellow taste.

A dedicated team of just 80 skilled workers oversee production that allows for each and every cigar to be individually numbered. Each box is then personally signed by the roller whose talent fashioned the cigars within. Impressive quality control for cigars which should age well. The best cigar in the Dunhill stable.

what do u like to smoke? I asked this exact question about a year ago... carbonbased_al sent me (actually handed me one when he came to visit) it was flat, lacked flavor, but it did burn nice...

the 1st third was harsh, i did give it a chance
the 2nd third did open up a little, but still nothing to call home about kinda like a flat padron thousnd series
the last 3rd was same as the 2nd

at best out of 10 i would have to give it a 4... but it did burn perfect

I've been wanting to get my hands on a couple of these for a while. I did find one place on the net that sells singles, but I ended up buying something else that day. I may have to break down and spring for a few. I would be very interested to see how they compare to the Blue Band Dunhill. If it is essentially a Blue Band with a sun grown wrapper, I could end up liking these. I'm just not sure enough to spring for a box when there are so many others that I know that I like.

Thanks for the reply! My current NC tastes have evolved to: Mild NC - Davidoff, Medium NC - Padron thousand, AF Hemi and DC, Full NC - Pepin/Tatuaje, FFOX, Padron Anni, etc (there are more). I like the blue band Dunhills once in a while. Nice "mild but complex" smoke. It sounds like it wasnt particularly complex or enjoyable.

Cigarbid has them in the singles section for 3.00 each! If I see a fiver or can win a bunch of singles, Ill pick one up and send some to ya. I would like to see your review on the stick. The price is right - some retail outlets have them for 8.00-10.00 each! A box seems excessive price-wise unless they show up on Cigarbid or on sale elsewhere. There are A LOT of other excellent NC cigars in that 200.00 price range.

Re: Anyone smoke a Dunhill Signed Range?

The entire Dunhill line is fairly on the mild side. They are pretty pricey with excellent construction (usually) but a mild type smoke. I hope this helps you. I would say worth a try, just to see what you think. RJT
