Hey Everybody,
I'm shipping off for Afghanistan this weekend and got an email from Mike (Squid) saying that he had a big shipment of sticks for us ready to be sent out. I just wanted to thank everyone in advance for your generousity and thoughtfulness. The FOB we're going to at first is pretty primative from what we've heard and I'm not sure how much internet access I'll be able to get. Once the passes clear up from snow, we're heading up even farther north and will be building our own firebase, so obviously internet will be at about negative 100, haha.
Anyways, don't think that I (WE!) are blowing you guys off. We appreciate the support from back home and look forward to the goodie boxes! Thanks for all the good threads on here, I've learned a lot. And the arcade....whoa baby, I'm not sure how I'm going to get by without playing a few hours of Craps, Slingo, or Seal Bounce a day once I'm over there!!
