Humidor question

My humidor was bought from a guy that keeps them in the same walk in as the cigars. When I bought it the RH was at 70, I added a little water and it stayed at 70 for couple of weeks then I added a couple of drops of humidifying solution because someone said that it would discourage mold and bacteria then the RH went to 75. It's holding at 75, should I be worried that it will split the wrappers or create a wet situation. If I need to lower the RH what do I do? I'm new at this, thanks for your help.

What's the RH outside the box, if it is lower than 75% then just open up the box for awhile. If it is higher than 75% then you might wash out your humidifier and fill it with new humidifying solution. It is usually already made up to a 50/50 mix of distilled water and propylene glycol. Hope that helps, 75% RH won't harm the cigars right away if at all.
