Charlottesville VA Cigar Friendly Bar?

For the first time I am traveling to Charlottesville as a cigar smoker. Any one have any suggestions for a cigar friendly bar in C'ville area?

Blue Light on the downtown mall is supposed to be very cigar friendly but I have never smoked there myself. Check out Miller's (also on the mall) especially if you want to hear some top notch jazz on Thursday nights. I suspect they allow cigar smoking but have not tried, certainly worth a phone call. There is a very nice little cigar shop at Barracks Rd shopping center that is pretty convenient if you need a place to stock up.

Re: Charlottesville VA Cigar Friendly Bar?

With my schedule I spent a lot more time with my daughter than I had thought (not complaining), so I didn't have time to enjoy a cigar. Did try out Cavaliers Cigars (think that was name) in Barracks. Totally different place--very disorganized compared to other places. But did have luck finding a box of Ramon Allones pre 2001 (when the brand was taken over by one of the big boys). It used to be owned by Dunhill and it was one of my favorite smokes back in the 80's. This box was date stamped by the store 1997, unopened, in good shape. So I bought the box. A man can never have too many cigars, right?
