Blue,

Your quote "Anyone that thinks that ISOMs are better than the Padron Anniversary 64, '26 or 40th really has questionable taste." Was the statement that caused some of the post.

It's your opinion, but it's also a pretty bold statement to make to people you don't even know.

People not only on this board but I'm sure others too, don't really like to be told that they have "questionable taste" because they don't like something other people like? Heck, I like mustard on my eggs but I don't think you have "questionable taste" because you don't like it, yes I'm kinda weird!!!

You seem like a pretty cool guy, and have a good knowledge of cigars and the history. Let me welcome you to CS and I hope you stay and add to this great board, plus let me offer to trade you a couple of Da Klugs cremosa's for some of the PSP#2's you just got....

Re: Are they worth it???

From my end, clearly my bad in not following a simple concept I always tell my wife. It is not what you say but rather how you say it. No matter how well we communicate, there is always different interpretations. The beauty of language.

Thurm15,
Aside from cigars, you and I have something else in common that I would bet can spark a whole new "opinion" thread (YANKEES). Can probably get more posts than my poor choice of words (that "questionable" one).
Thurman was someone I really admired and I feel fortunate to have shot the breeze with him as a kid from the bullpen prior to a game during the years of renovation when they played at Shea. I felt king for the day. He was a class act.
Would sure be cool to kick back and smoke one in Da Bronx.

Thats cool that you got to see Thurman play ball and chat to him a bit. Unfortunately I was too young to have watched him play but I was old enough to remember the day he crashed his Jet. As you can tell I'm a big Yankee fan and I've always been intrigued with Munson probably because I never got to see him play. Too bad he never got the Nod to the Hall. Guess he pissed off too many Sportswriters. Anyways, cool to have another Yankee fan here. Let's hope the Bombers can turn things around fast.
