Modest look at my new Savoy

I am one of the what seems like several hundred that got in on the Savoy deal from Holt's. I seasoned it for almost a week, it's been steady at 73% rH the past two or three days, so I decided to load her up.

I am using it as my main NC humi, however my cooler is mostly full of other NCs, it's also the only place that holds my stuff that doesn't fall into the NC catagory.

Anyway, I figured since I was tranferring stuff over, I might as well take some pics to share when I was done. Nothing special here, but it's what I have right now.

Underneath the first pic is mostly CAO stuff, about 8 Criollos (left out of basically a box I had), 5 Brazilia Gol!s and an Italia Ciao.

Like I said, nothing special, but it keeps me happy. Of course, these smokes have been passed up over and over because my Anejos are in my cooler, and they seem to drown out other smokes when it comes time to grab something.

Looks great, I only seasoned mine for maybe 2 days...had a few sticks in there since Thursday and added 20 on Friday...reading 67% today.

Yeah, I'll keep the sticks just under 70 (I like the more premium stuff at 65%, so that's where the cooler stays). I just wanted to make sure it was fully seasoned before adding them. Plus, starting at 73 wasn't a worry for me due to how stinking dry it is around here right now. The humi they came from would never get over 69% with 70% beads, and would usually hover between 67 and 68. This one seems to be sealed a bit better, but we'll see.

Thanks man! To think, 4 months ago before I joined this site, I would have thought I had a problem if I had this many sticks in my humi. Now I have this and a cooler! I still have the one empty 100 or 125 count that I moved these sticks from in case I ever need it. And the tupperdor for quarentine (sp?) for the sticks I get from the fine BOTLs here at CS!

Nice pics and collection. Those RP Vintage and Carlos Torano cigars have become a couple of my favorites recently. Always a safe bet.

Re: Modest look at my new Savoy

Hey man that looks great! I think most of my cigars will age thanks to a select few that I keep loads of around. I always say I'll go try a new one, but I just keep going back to what I love.

Thanks for sharing, and I got 3 of those holt's humi's going right now too. Holding steady at 67rh.. Thanks again for sharing!

A steal for the price and it looks great as well.

You have some great smoking ahead of you there.

Nice humi

Savoy is probably the nicest humi I've seen as far as construction goes, I'm just too cheap to actually buy one.

You don't have $20 bucks?

I feel you. I haven't had any $$$ for cigars recently but this was just too good of a deal for me to pass on. I got mine in about 4 days ago. It is a very nice piece!
