I have seen the FdO Maduro's listed. I would like to try the torps. So far from a few different brands where I have tried the natural and maduro, the maduro has agreed with my taste buds much more than the natural. I have just bought the regulars because that is what was being sold at a local shop. For $25 bucks though, I'll probably just nab a bundle.

I want to again suggest the La Flor de Caney (Bouquet Figurado size) from Mike's for $30. I smoked my first from the box after it sat the weekend in the humidor.

Construction was truly amazing; it burnt to the ring before I knocked the ash off. It was even windy outside today.

The cigar tasted a bit young, but @ the $30 price tag this is to be expected. This cigar has mild cameroon flavor and stays very smooth until after "the hump". At that point a bit of bitterness is noticable, but the cigar still tastes great. I strongly suspect with as little as 6 months on the cigar it will go from very good to excellent.

I can't think of any other double taper figurados this cheap; and they taste very good to boot. I also have Flor de Oliva Grand Cameroon figurados in my coolerdor. The Oliva has more flavor, but doesn't have the degree of smoothness of the Dominican LfdC. The fact the LfdC is about 1/2 the price of the Oliva is a big plus as well.
