I've got both an otterbox (15ct) and x-treme (18ct) ... I favor the x-treme because it fits in my shoulder-bag better and the cigars seem to float around a little bit less. I've actually taken to using my otterbox for pipe travel, instead. just my

I use a small Pelican case with a few Boveda Humipouches inside. Have been using this arrangement for three years now, and it has been working very well keeping the cigars fresh. It's also practically indestructible.

It sounds like you might be looking for something a little better than this, but I've found that these work great if you are looking to go cheap... I picked it up at King Soopers for under $4. This one only holds 8-10 (under 6.5"), but there was also a larger size that would definitely hold 15+... There are probably tons of options out there, & I'll upgrade eventually, but for now this suits my student budget.

I have been using my armored (http://www.armoredhumidor.com/) for several months of heavy travel. It's worked great!
