Not that I have been checking it every ten minutes or anything, but the humidity in the house is at 41%. With just the bowls of DI water the cabinet is up to 57% It seems to be doing great so far!

Damn that thing is gorgeous! I am very glad that it arrived safely for you. But, I can't believe it went from the St Louis area out to KC and then back to Columbia. I just don't get how that was a good decisions on thier part? You pass Columbia half-way to KC from STL!
