Has anyone smoked any Anejo from this year's release? If so, how do they compare to previous releases? I'm sure these will never be what they were in the original release, but hopefully still better than most!

Hey DonJefe, I have a couple in my humidor, but dont plan them till christmas. I hear that their not as good as the ones that were released 3 years ago.

Just grabbed a couple. Beautful looking and...
...ridiculously expensive. Couldn't resist, though. I had a couple 2 years ago and they were beautiful all around.I will say that I feel goood about their potential for one reason (though admittedly it might be a bad reason) : the recent batches of Opus Xs has been great.

Stopped by my local store this afternoon and scored 2 Anejo Sharks and One Work of Art.

I hope they are as good as advertised. I plan on lighting upon one of the Sharks on Friday for my 40th Birthday.

Picked up 2 for my birthday, smoked the shark on Sunday. Just excellent. Store was completely out yesterday. The last one I will save for Xmas. Opus are coming in this week they believe. Looks like I am eating lunch down there every day.

i havent smoked any
but some of my good friends have and they say they are better than last years and are very good

i never did like them much myself but i do get them for friends in europe
and it seems i may have an extra box available this year if someone is interested.
please see the above mentioned may have

as there is 1 more person i need to offer these to before i sell them
he has helped me out before when i needed a box

i will post a thread if this box becomes available
but i bet it gets grabbed

I smoked my last Shark from 2002 yesterday.
I now will hit a couple of last years.
I have a bunch coming from this years batch, I will fire one up in a couple weeks.
