Excaliber 1066 Dark Night II

Ok so my Uncle Jack is absolutely hooked to these 1066's. He doesn't smoke anything else [unless its cuban] and its starting to but me to death that he doesn't even touch the surface of what the cigar world has to offer. He uses the old phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I mean thats like saying that you love a good T-Bone but won't even try Prime Rib. i am convinced to find a cigar that he would like better (in the same price range[$5-ish]) any help guys?

I'm a big fan of the 1066s as well. I think they are medium bodied, very smooth, and a great value. For a bit more, I would advise towards the LGC Series R Maduros; for a bit less, perhaps the El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Largas.

I like them there cigars. The Dark Knights are quite tasty.

I'd say try the Padron 2000 Maduro. Though, don't be too pushy as he's smoking something that he enjoys.

If he is hooked on the dark knight, the Partagas Black Classico is the only cigar I have found that is deeper darker richer oilier and comparable. I think if you do the box for cash at most B&M's you can see a $5-6 a stick price. At least that is what I did on my box.

Nice problem to have.

Good Luck

I have one or two left from a 5 pack I bought a while back. They are pretty nice for the price, hopefully they get a bit better with age.
