The elusive "Go-to"

Ahhhh ... the quest for the elusive.... "Go-to."

I think we all have our "go-to" for the moment. But, ya know, it's gonna change in a month or two ... as soon as we find something that tastes better ... different ... matches our changing tastes.

What's your "Go-to" right now?

5 Vegas Gold, Tatuahe (white label), and probably my most favorite..Gran Habano Connecticut.

Those would be my "go to cheap smokes".

Re: The elusive "Go-to"

I only have about one cigar a week. Each one is an event -- a celebration of a rare few hours of free time. Right now my "go to" cigars are the Padron '64 and Davidoff Millennium Blend. Robusto is my favorite size.

Re: The elusive "Go-to"

Padron 5000 & St Louis Rey Reserva.
THe are good bold smooth smokes. The 5000 can be a bit rough but after a year in the humi they smooth out. I think its the best value of the Padron line.

St Louis Rey Reserva I think is the best value cigar. For less than $2 a stick they deliver a smooth full bodied taste and I will go as far as to say they can hang with cigars that cost almost 10 times as much. I have 4 boxes of different CC's and these are not as good but they hang with them.

Re: The elusive "Go-to"

MY go to smokes would be La Aurora 1495 corona, Padron 1926 Natural and 1964 Maduro. But due to cost I burn more 64's than 26's.
