AF Anejo

Just a quick question. I purchased a couple Anejos today (46 and The Shark). The last time I purchased a Shark I smoked it the day I bought it. I enjoyed the smoke and it's appearance alone was intriguing. The one problem was that from time to time it would have this metallic finish. My thinking is that some time in the humi may mellow it out a bit. Has anyone here ever had an experience like this? Also, has anyone let these sit for a period of time? and if so, how were they?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have smoked plenty of these and never had one with a metallic finish. I still have some from last year I have not tried. I did smoke one from a box I just bought that was perfect start to finish. Great smoke.

Re: AF Anejo

i have smoked probably a box of sharks, and a total of 4 other boxes of anejos. some one the day i got them, and some 2 or 3 years later. never can i remember a metallic taste. i have gotten that from other smokes though. maybe it was just a personal thing on the day. shouldn't have eaten that aluminum foil.

Re: AF Anejo

Maybe the taste was coming from my fillings. Who knows
