Re: Never Trust a 4 Year Old
DParsons thank you for the wise words and to all of you. I had a refrigerator lock on it at one time but he some how got it off my cooler, but he hasn’t managed to get it off the fridge.
I was more worried about him trying to eat one and getting sick than the damage to a couple of cigars. It goes to show you they are a lot smarter than we sometimes give them credit for. Badkama I think the bubble gum is a great idea with one exception. There would be chewed bubble gum all over my house. Guitarman-S.T really no damage other than a few bands being torn, but you don’t smoke the bands anyway. So no harm no foul. Boston Dude05 Thanks the Hemingway’s are long gone I keep singles in there now. Yes there is a box of chateaus in there. ttours if he can get in the cabinet above my fridge I’m in trouble anyways so no lock on it for now.

Time to get a humidor with a lock on it. That way, he can learn how to operate a lock.

Re: Never Trust a 4 Year Old
Cute kid! Don't know if the beads could be harmful to him if he decided to try and eat some. This alone may be worth repositioning or securing the coolerdor.
Your call, just trying to help. |

Re: Never Trust a 4 Year Old
HaHa! You've gotta love 'em. They just don't always no better and we have to deal with it and teach them.
After the last Lou non-herf someone had gifted me a nice tubed cigar which I didn't smoke and had not put up until the next morning. I had some cigars waiting to go into the humi when I heard a 'clanking' sound and I had to look real close to see what my son was hitting against the floor. I jumped - he jumped, but all was ok. |

I think I am going to take my cooler to my office. It will be a lot easier to keep an eye on him when he's here.

Re: Never Trust a 4 Year Old
My 3 sons are now a freshman in college, a freshman in high school and a 7th grader. They have done more frustrating things than I can count, but I wouldn't trade a minute. In the big scheme of things you will be laughing at this for years to come. Enjoy every minute of him growing up because you won't know where the time went. My oldest now smokes cigars with me by the pool and I still treasure every minute. My gawd, I seems like he was 4 years old last year...
