I came home after work to an empty house in October of 2004. No warning. All of her belongings, gone. (And some of mine, to boot.) She didn't leave a note, a reason, nothing. I found out shortly thereafter she had moved in with a slick-talking rich pron producer and was already making movies. Pain. Pain. Pain.

Time WILL HEAL ALL WOUNDS. On bad days, just take it a day at a time. Or a minute at a time, or a second at a time if you have to. Count blessings as well. Scream along with some Eminem and his countless tracks about heartless bitches.

You WILL meet a good woman who will appreciate all you've done for your country and all you do for her. Make sure to allow yourself time to heal in-between.

Ive been married almost 30 years to the most wonderful woman any man could find, but I'm losing her to cancer. What keeps me going is my faith and a great group of friends and of course my daughter. Hey Mike, You really do have the right attitude. I almost Married a real "See You Next Tuesday", but she was kind enough to leave me right in the middle of my best friends wedding. Hurt for a long time but I now see her for the true bitch she was. Thank the good Lord she's out of my life.
