Indian Tabac Fire

Has anyone tried Fire by Indian Tabac. The dealers describe them as "peppery". I like a peppery cigar (AShton VSG's etc) and these things are fairly inexpensive. Problem is that in the past I have disliked the Indian Tabac products that I've tried and am not anxious to throw any money at something I won't like.

So, I just thought I'd see if anyone has tried them and what they thought.

Bought & smoked a couple of singles last fall. Construction was an issue, poor draw and poor wrapper/cap construction. But the madoro flavors were decent, especially when you look at CAO Brazilias that are more than double the price. I wouldn't buy a box, but worth a try if you like maduros.

Re: Indian Tabac Fire

I got a box free a year or so ago for buying something else from IT......can't remember what it was. Anyhow, not a bad flavor....was better than expected, but then I wasn't expecting much.

Re: Indian Tabac Fire

CI's gotem for $ 49 for 30.

Heres what they say...

This is one Fire that you can yell about in a crowded theater!

Fire was released last year by Indian Tabac Cigar Co., and it's a hot potato of a cigar offering something unique: triple-fermented wrappers AND fillers. This combination of dark tobaccos yields a “Cuban-esque” impression on the palate: full-bodied and heady flavor with a savory, electrifying and slightly sweet character. Combining Indian Tabac’s attention to detail and Augusto Reyes’ cigar making prowess, Fire is blazing the trail for the bold cigar brigade.

And perhaps most enticing are these silly discount prices. Since Indian Tabac is making a packaging change on the brand, I squeezed these guys to get me one hell of a deal on this inventory - and passing the savings along. Same blend, same factory, same company, same cigar. Only now they're yours below wholesale.

Unknown by the majority of Indian Tabac lovers, Fire was also created with a triple-fermented Corojo wrapper. Toothy, tasty, and loaded with power, the Fire Corojo is no slouch. Packaged in bundles of 15, I’m serving up a sweet 2-fer deal that’s sure to make your mouth water. My supply is low, so get’em while you can!

I think they taste like the stuff on a hot dog that falls into the coals in the grill. Got one in a sampler and didn't like it. Maybe strong with no flavor purpose.

Angry Re: Indian Tabac Fire

Cigarbid order arrived today, tried one. They certainly aren't what they are built up to be. But, they aren't terrible either. Peppery isn't a word I would use to describe them, and your mouth does not explode with flavor. But not bad for a buck. I won't buy anymore, but I'll smoke the ones I have, probably while fishing or washing the truck.

Re: Indian Tabac Fire

Bought a couple of singles at local smoke shop. Long story short, I haven't purchased any more.
