Same answer, but different twist. Cigars are like wine, it really does not mean the most expensive is the best. For example IMO White Zin is crap, a mistake and is the #1 wine sku in the world;if it was so bad why is everyone buying it?
There are some good smokes out there that are inexpensive i.e. La Floridita, priates, consuegras, etc. I am always in search of an inexpensive great cigar. I personally like the La Floridita, but some of would be repulsed. ![]()

Re: Does Everyone Buy Dog Rockets?
I use CBID for my buck sticks.
Usually I can get fivers of 5 Vegas Coronas, IT Limited Reserve and LVH Leather Patches for about $5/$7. If I were to buy a bundle at retail though I'd go with the Consuegras.

For my everyday cigar I go back and forth between Alec Bradley's Spirit of Cuba that I get for $35 a box from my B&M (you can get them for $27 on some online sites). They come in Natural, Habano and Corojo. (I really like the Habono.) Then I get the GR Specials (made by the same people that make Gran Habanos). I like the Red Label but they also produce a Black Label. |

Re: Does Everyone Buy Dog Rockets?
I have yet to buy any dog rockets, but as many have pointed out there really are so many great cheaper cigars that you can't go wrong (with a little education)... I just got in a box of maduro Padron Londres today & I'm smoking the first one before the box even hit my cooler. For just over $50 a box these are an awesome smoke!!!

Re: Does Everyone Buy Dog Rockets?
i actually won some fighting cocks cigars on cbid! and not wanting to waste my money , i smoked them. now i smoke them every time i'm in the yard. i don't love 'em, but i can't see sweating all over my good ones. i also like the perdomo frescos, i don't like anything else by perdomo, but the fresco bundle is pretty good for the price. another one i tried and liked was the herfdog at holt's, it's a mixed filler and a pretty good yard gar also. just my

Re: Does Everyone Buy Dog Rockets?
I agree with Ron, I feel that I cant justify spending that much money each day to smoke. So I smoke what I like and somedays thats a $7-15 stick other days its a $1-3. It really comes down to a lot of little factors, company, time, weather, etc. which decide what I'm gonig to reach for
