Re: Craigslist at it again

Allright, what do you think. Are those cigars dog rockets with "new labels"?

I, along with everyone else would be very suspicious.

Allright, lets say it's legit and it's displayed right on top for all to see. So the next question would be, what sort of horrors are hiding beneath the visible top layer?

Re: Craigslist at it again

My concern is I see no other hydrometer - have these cigars been kept in good shape without the aid of a calibrated digital hydrometer?

Very true. I'm almost curious enough to contact the guy and ask for a picture that displays the whole cigar collection. I wonder what his response would be.

Re: Craigslist at it again

I find it amazing that anyone would even attempt to sell a collection of premium cigars without providing a complete list right from the very start......

Re: Craigslist at it again

Without being able to look them over directly I don't think that I would take the chance with $600 on the line.

Re: Craigslist at it again

This could be a good deal for someone in the same area. I for one would not do it without a list of the cigars and some close up shots of them. Even then I don't know if I would do it.

Please share with us how you can tell the authenticity of a Cuban cigar by the color of the wrapper.
If you really meant the band, I've seen many a Fauxhiba with decent looking bands.
