Hey everybody,

AbnLT here from Kandahar Air Field. On behalf of the 1-508 PIR, I just want to thank everybody who's contributed cigars to the fantastic boxes Squid has been sending over. We really appreciate all the support you are giving us from back home. I have a few pics of people enjoying the smokes, and I mailed out a few thank you cards a few months ago. Hopefully you got them! It's getting hotter by the day over here but we're getting by. We're starting to make cigars a nightly ritual when we're back at KAF and not on missions. I'm working on getting us a little "smoke shack" built, but the highers up are hemming and hawwing. So we'll see.

Anyways, thanks again for all the great support! Your generousity is commendable.

While I haven't had the opportunity to contribute just yet, I will be...you can count on that!! While in the Navy, I remember sitting out on the main deck at sunset smoking some sticks with my fellow squids. Makes things more bareable!
