AZ Herf - Officially a SUCCESS

Among the many attendees, were notables: LasciviousXXX and Linus van Pelt at the first official AZ Club Stogie Herf. Table-top cards with CS logo added class to the evening, which, given the attendees, turned out to be much needed!!

However the fine assortment of cigars traded was first class...although Linus and I were only able to respond with lesser domestics but are both introduced to the dark side (thank you)!

L-XXX will be posting pics of this memorable event here or in another thread....just some stats that were gathered very scientifically throughout the evening:

15 - number of cigars lit and enjoyed

765 - number of times we discussed bush

1 - number of times we discussed Bush, the president

1432 - number of other references to sex, women, or women and sex

0 - number of acceptable rums stocked in the bar for Linus

0 - number of serious rum experts that Kscotty and L-XXX have ever met before

43 - number of times pretty blonde at bar winked at Linus

1 - number of those times she was actually looking at him (and the wink was a result of a loose contact in her eye)

1 - number of times Linus lost his mind and asked L-XXX "isn't there a height requirement in the police force?"

25 - years of combined marital experience that Kscotty and Linus relayed to L-XXX as he is getting married soon

0.5 - number of useful suggestions L-XXX actually took to heart

6 - number of times Kscotty checked L-XXX's bag to make sure he wasn't packin'

I APPRECIATE THE GUYS COMING OUT.....we will have to do this again, with more people!

Yeah everybody had a great time. I'm going to post the pics in the HERF Forum as that's what its used for. It'll take me a little bit but check there for the pics. We all had fun.

KScotty forgot some of the stats:


3 - Number of ISOM's had by both KScotty and Linus that night

2 - Number of ISOM cherries popped that night

1 - Number of times Linus dumped all his ashes on the table

7 - Number of trips to the bathroom

12 - Number of alcoholic beverages consumed by all

6.5 - Number of hours the first official AZ HERF lasted

I first off want to say thank you (again) to KScotty for organizing the AZ herf.

Thank you to LasciviousXXX for breaking my and KScotty's Cuban cherries, and to both for gifting some awesome smokes.

I would like to say that L-XXX forgot to mention that my cigar had a 3 1/2 inch ash when it fell all over the table. But please check the Herf page for more on that.

Some additional numbers ---

5 - number of times L-XXX pulled out his ... briefcase to grab even more smokes (they kept getting better each time)

2 - number of XXX's on Lascivious's person (1 ring, 1 tattoo)

10 - number of times KScotty referred to L-XXX's girlfriend in some way or another.

Yeah we're thinking "aboot" having a little HERF every couple of months or so. We would love to have you there. We're not sure if the next one is going to happen up in Sedona AZ or if its going to be poolside at KScotty's in PHX. We'll keep you posted though. Keep checking the HERF Forum and welcome.

I'd like the next one to be in Sedona, because the drive to PHX is "aboot" 2 1/2 hours long. But it was well worth it!!!!!

Yeah I'm thinking we could start out at the Martini Bar in Sedona right next to the Lightin' Up Smoke Shop and then head over to Steak and Sticks for Dinner and Billiards. Damn I'm looking forward to that.

I'll be MIA in March though as my Wedding and Honeymoon are that month.
