I heard from a Fuente rep that Carlito didn't think the anejos were ready for Fathers day and will hold them back for Christmas.

Wondering if anyone else heard this?

Well I guess I can spend my money on other smokes now. I made sure that I had some extra cash around this fathers day so I could get a box of them. Looks like it might be Padron 64's!!!!!

Haven't heard that, but it is entirely possible, as I got my info regarding the Anejo release from Mr. Fuente last year. I have seen them around the Tampa area in various places over the past month, but that isn't necessarily unusual.

I'm hoping to see some of them soon here in NC. I'm not sure when they usually are released here - the last time we got some was in April, for our big furniture market. I picked about a half a dozen.

My local B&M owner told me that Fuente will not be shipping any Anejos for Father's Day. I guess we all have to wait until X'Mas.

They will, however, ship Opus X, but the Opus are most probably will be hitting the stores after Father's Day.

I don't think that is a question that can really be answered. Unless you are talking about when they were delivered.

I know tampasweetheart got a shipment of sharks, but that is all they got. These could be left over from christmas time. I know Casa Fuente gets boxes of anejos all year long, so my guess is Fuente just holds some boxes at the factory for these "special Fuente" places.

I was at the B&M today and they still had a couple of Anejo's for around $13. Let me know if anyone wants to trade for a couple as I will be happy to get a couple if the B&M still has them.
