Well, it's close to Father's Day and I am wondering if anyone has seen any Anejo or Opus at local B&Ms. I haven't seen them at mine yet.

They are released once a year to select B&Ms right before Xmas.

To answer the OP, not yet. I'm hoping for a call from my local B&M in the next week or two though.

My local B&M owner told me that Fuente releases them twice a year, before X'mas and right around Father's Day. Perhaps others can chime in.

This is what I have heard as well.

However, I thought people said last year they didn't release any around Father's day. Does anyone know if this is true?

Hey guys, you may be right; however, I got that info from 30 year employee and rep of Arturo Fuente. If that is the case as you mention SWEET, but I doubt it.

I suppose it's possible they've changed their policies but every time I've picked them up it's been in June.

When I was talking to the rep he stated the Anejo line was a mistake that turned into one of the most sought after smokes. Many would argue that the Anejo line is better then the OPus X. I perfer the Anejo over any OPus X seven days a week and twice on Sunday

The reason they do not have a large stock is the shortage of tobacco that they cured for this line. I will keep my eyes out... What am I saying??? I am always looking for Anejos.

Believe it or not my B&M had a couple left from Christmas time as of 2 weeks ago. Can't figure out why!

Maybe it was their $$$

How much were they? I usually pay between $8 and $14 depending on the size and shape.

1 of my locals got a shipment of opus in about 2 weeks ago... didn't last long!
i'm still waiting on tinderbox, but you have to be a 'certain' type of person to get a call from them saying they got 'em. and my friend's dad is one of 'those' people, and he hasn't passed any word ...yet.
