el rey del mundo

Just cheated on my regular shop and went to the other shop in town. All monte whites are $6. Not a bad price. Picked up some el rey del mundo as well. Familar with the other version, but what about the honduran. I got a corona and a regular robusto, cool wrapping. Anyone have an opinion of these?

ERDM Robusto and Robusto Larga in the maduro wrapper are absolutely one of my go-to smokes. The naturals are good too, but the maddies are some of the best for the $ around.

In my Noob journey, the one ERDM I have smoked has been one of the best cigars I have had. Must... have... more!!!!

Re: el rey del mundo

Thanks for your thoughts. I look forward to having these tonight. Since they are not in my regular shop no one had an opinion. I found the top 25 cigar data base is good, but I would rather listen to the people here then some review from 2002

Re: el rey del mundo

ERDM Robusto and Robusto Larga are amazing, as Quixote mentioned. I have a Flor De Llaneza size with the EMS wrapper I bought to try but haven't gotten around to smoking it yet.

I simply love the ERDM robusto, definately a very very consistant tasty stogie. I smoke a couple a week, and more when its warm. Definately a go to smoke...

Re: el rey del mundo

The ERDM Robusto Larga are superb and can be bought at JR's by the 5 packs for quite a reasonable price.

Don't forget to check out Cigars International. They usually have all sorts of 5-pack specials.

I've never had one, but was recently gifted a robusto by a fellow BOTL. Looking forward to trying it soon.

Re: el rey del mundo

The white paper wrappers are too cool. ERDM robusto large is an excellent value and burns a long long time compared to most similar sized cigars

Re: el rey del mundo

The regular robusto was very good last night. I was very pleased. This morning had the corona, that was good as well. Look to go back today and pick up the robusto larga. Regardless, I think one of these boxes will be on the anniversary list.
