Of course, I would buy good smokes like that all the time if I got paid millions to blab about whatever is on my mind...maybe someday...

I am viciously independent and don't have any real opinion on Rush either way (though some hypocracies are hard to ignore with the whole opioid use/drug policy thing), but this statement just hit me square on the funnybone.

As far as his cigars go, it's clear the man has good taste

Thanks for the link,,don't listen to Rush anymore but do respect him as a self made man same as Arnold and Jesse Ventura and they all like cigars (I think Jesse quit but his picture hanging in the governor's mansion has him holding a cigar,,must piss off all the anti smoking goofs..)

Re: Rush Limbaugh Take on Cigars

A well known Twin Cities author bought cigars, a humidor and a cutter from our shop to give to Rush Limbaugh. I'm not a huge fan of his polotics, but I give him a huge for doing what he does (plus it's nice knowing that product from our shop can help feed his cigar hobby )

I always thought he was kind of an idiot, but I would just shrug him off. Then one day he made fun of Micheal J. Fox and really made me mad. Normally a famous person making fun of a famous person (even if I'm a fan) I can see the humor in it, but what he did to MJF was, in my mind, inexcusable.

But I'll get down off my and ask a real question. Why is it that Opus X's are so special? Rush said that it was grown in the same country and on the same plantation, but are there not other cigars that are like this as well? With the way people horde those thing when they can, you would thing they are made from pre-embargo Cuban tobacco.

I'm planning to find out the answer to this very question today because it seems odd that even tho I have yet to smoke one I own 11 and asked for a box blind.

OXY and cigars are a great combo they pair together well. J/K,but it's strange that he likes Macanudo AND LFD Chisels. Most people would like one and not the other.

Why? You know Macanudo makes more than one line, right?
