I've had both the 4 and 5 in maduro and have really enjoyed them. I've only had one of each, so for what it's worth, I think the 4 edged out the 5. I really need to pick up some more of these to give them a good try but so far I was impressed.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions and input. Got a hold of a LGC Serie R #5. Will let you all know my thoughts when I get a chance to smoke it.

Re: La Gloria Cubana Series R

LGC series R.... oh one of my personal favorites! Full bodied, nice white smoke and the ash is always a light grey. Always nicely constructed, and rarely had burn problems. The first one I had was a #6 (on a empty stomach it kicked my @$$!), but my choice from that line would deffinately be the #5.

If your looking for another full bodied i would also try a JDN Anato or a Camacho SLR (red and gold label) my $.02

Did the box have an LGCR5, Gran Habano No. 5 Rothschild, La Perla Havana Black Pearl Toro and Supertoro Rojos?

Had one in Steamboat last month. I'd let them rest. Big lots of smoke but monocromatic.

Or did it have a LGC #5, LGH # 3, GH #5 and a Buc Salsa?

Just keep asking questions and it appears you dont need to buy cigars.

Man I am going to have to start asking if a cigar is any good! Sean and Klugs are sending out some fabulous sticks there! Love those LpH Rojos and the Buc Salsas you guys included.

Way to step up to the plate guys.

Wow, someone else who actually likes the Punch Gran Puros, I was beginning to think I was the only one! These just seem to be really touchy; when they aren't burning straight the flavor really suffers. When they burn right however they are wonderful IMO.

Typo GH # 3 sorry. Still recovering from an Opus X Robusto buzz when I wrote it. Thought Jeff might like to try a milder brother of the # 5.

The first box of GH I buy will certainly be the #5, but I really like the #3 as well. Good choice Klugs!

Re: La Gloria Cubana Series R

Lit up my first LGC Serie R #5 tonight. Got a strong buzz on. This stick packs one hell of a punch! Will write a review later when I'm done.

Thanks Klugs!
