Re: Please God don't let me win all my auctions

I currently have 16 open auctions between today and tomorrow and I want to win every bleeding one. When I bid I take my max price and coutn that as money spent, so I'm pretty good against my available credit. Then whatever I don't win today I dump into tomorrows availble spending.

Man, sometimes I will sneak out of bed to go check on a bid at closing time, and bid higher if necessary. If I win I can't go back to sleep for an hour.

My high school students would say I need a life.

Well I'm only winning 5 now, and they are all sampler packs. I still have no idea what I like, so I'll be buying samplers for the moment.

Talk about addicting! Especially when I have an empty humidor that is nearly ready to take stogies.
I felt that way one night when i had bids on three humidors, two boxes and about 9 five packs...well i won them all and they came on the same day. I just happened to be late coming home from work, and well i was met at the front door with all the boxes stacked nicely and my wife shaking her head at me.

Great advice! After bidding on just about everything to begin with I have honed my interest down to a smaller # of cigars. Placing an early autobid that's slightly on the low side gives you a good chance of getting a real bargain! I actually picked up some of the Padilla '32s for $31 myself this week.
