Surprise! Small Box on the Porch!
A few months ago, I read a thread about an email free Montecristo cigar and signed up for the freebie.

I've completely forgotten about it, of course.

I went out onto the front porch on my way out and saw a small white box. Cigar sized.

I immediately went in and opened it up. Inside: a Montecristp Platinum Trio: Robusto, Toro and Figurado sizes. Sweet!

I've had to take care of an emergency expenditure of $1375 to have a tree removed from by back yard, so no $ for cigars.

Always sign up for the freebees, you might get a nice one like this.

I'll post a pic i took when i get back home from my road trip to beautiful Shelbyville KY

Mine arrived (to my surprise!) last friday after signing up again... It was an original (brown label) double corona. Free cigars are nice aren't they

1375$ To have a tree removed? Christ I'd a done it for 250$ with a chain and my front bumper.

Shelbyville KY is east of Louisville. My company has a plant there and I had to visit all week, not a bad place, just a small town.

Freebies are the best.

The tree removed was a LARGE olf locust tree, probably 4 foot D at the base. There were two main trunks, and over time the two truunks were splitting. The split was @ 3-4 foot, and we were worried about ice storms this winter or wind storms which could drop ont of the trunks in my neighbors pool.

The first bid was $2300!! After changing my shorts, we started getting other bids. The secomd one was $1600. The one we picked was $1375 cash. They took all the wood, raked up and dropped the tree without damaging anything.

Needless to say, I'm a little short of cash.
