In the interest of full disclosure, I have decided to remain on my own even though Ron was kind enough to offer to back me with no benefit to himself. A truly fine BOTL.

So I'm kicking it up to 150 cigars.

Heck of a nice gesture Ron! I am starting to re-acess my situation, may have to break into my Wife's small little stash or even break into my kids piggy bank. I will have to get ahold of the puppeteer to see if he wants to pull some more strings. "I'll be back"

I have always wanted to be a sniper and since I have a spotter, this could be a dangerous situation!

Re: Contest: Win 65% humidity beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bah! I'm maxed out...I lose.

But the troops win.

I’ve never donated cigars for the troops before and I had been stockpiling some less desirables (and fairly good sticks too) with the intent to do so for quite some time. I also just want to say that there are many people who give to the troops frequently who have given much much more. Also, I already have 3 lbs of beads, so I’m not in need of the prize. I knew at the beginning of this contest I was going to bid at least 100 (you rotten S.O.Bs team up AND found the deal on Tropical Fevers ).

So regardless that I did not win the auction, I will donate 150 cigars (also a box of 100 cigarillos and some cutters) anyway, and I would ask that the other BOTL who placed bids at least consider donating what they bid (or a part of it) for the sake of our troops. Just think how a cigar at the end of the day is such a relaxing event for us, and then imagine how the troops could use that relaxation considering what they go through. Your dogrockets just may make them feel a little bit normal in a place that is so far from it.

Now, off my soapbox..

A big congrats to TEAM macms/livwire68 (assuming nobody outbids them in the next 90 minutes). Way to step up guys! Thanks to RGD (Ron) for the support!

Motownflip, could you PM me the address of where I can send all these goodies?

Thanks for the auction. Its been quite entertaining!

Mike

Very well put and played Mike, you are a stand up Brother! And on behalf of Team: macms/Livwire68 we are going to go ahead and up our bid to an even 200! Thanks Fred AKA: macms and thanks to motownflip for doing this as well. And If we do win Team: macms/Livwire68 plan on donating a new 3-cigar holder stinky ashtray to the 3rd highest bidder who wishes to send in their bid to the troops (Mitro has offered to forfit this prize to the 3rd runner up, thanks Mike!)

Re: Contest: Win 65% humidity beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats to the macms/Livwire68 duo. 200 cigars is an amazing number. Please pm me where you would like me to send your beads to. I would of never guessed that the bid would get this high, but hey, the generosity here is just that amazing. I will get you instructions soon on where to send the cigars to. And mitro, thank you for donating cigars even though you didn't win. You are a class act. Excellent work gentelmen.

Re: Contest: Win 65% humidity beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just placed my order with holt's, being shipped directly to papajohn. Will post a DC# when I get it. Not sure if BroNeilson had the next highest bid @ 55, if that is the case and you still want to donate them I will send you a new 3-cigar holder stinky ashtray! PM me if interested!
