Lawmakers to give FDA regulation over tobacco on July 18th...
From the article below:
[SIZE="4"]The bill would allow the FDA to regulate the levels of tar, nicotine and other harmful components of tobacco products. [/SIZE] I realize that this legislation is primarily for cigarettes, but we all know what happens when they have control of something. The bill clearly states cigarettes and "other tobacco products".  Congress is after a safer cigarette. Fine. But we all know that handing control of tobacco products sold in the USA to the FDA can only mean that this is the beginning of a slippery slope. Today cigarettes, tomorrow cigars/pipe tobacco. Heck, since Big Pharma controls the FDA, it shouldn't be too hard for Big Tobacco to get in on the action as well..........
