My wife and I sat out back late last night as I enjoyed the above combo. Thousands of lightningbugs, backed by a chorus of crickets, put on a spectacluar fireworks display, making the woods behind our home look like a collection of giant Christmas trees. It was so calm and quiet our normally alert German Shepherd dozed off at our feet.

After approximately 90 minutes, I finished the ale at almost the exact moment I nubbed the cigar. Needless to say, warm ambiance and intimate conversation, coupled with the Añejo's silky-smooth potpourri of expresso and mild pepper flavors, as well as the Belgian Ale's 11.5% alcohol content, had me feeling quite sublime on that cozy summer night.

As I get older I'm really beginning to appreciate life's seemingly few precious moments, and last night was definitely one of them. A special thanks to the Fuentes and those dedicated Trappist monks, as well as the girl I've been with since age 15, for helping to make it happen.
Excellent review! Thanks for sharing the experience with us. Vicarious living at its best. 2 thumbs up.

LOL, that was my wife's touch. Any time I open a humidor she starts breaking out candles, even though I smoke outside 90% of the time.

Classic!
Isn't that thing priceless? I can't take credit for it though; my 9-year old son added it when I opened my CS account. "Dad, you'll look like a nerd if you don't have a cool image under your username."

I must also confess he was the one who ran up all the arcade high scores when I first joined. He really enjoys showing me how "easy" the games I played as a youth are to him. I think he had 7 or 8 titles at one point until I put a stop to it. The only one that legitimately belongs to me is Yahtzee, and to this day I have no idea how the hell I achieved it.

The BBF is next on my "must try" list. I love the viotola and they look absolutely delicious. I hope I can find some older ones because I've heard aging is an absolute must.
