Re: Padilla 1948
What did those run you if you don't mind. Wondering if they are at the 1932, 8/11, or Habano (etc.) price point. Thanks.

Re: Padilla 1948
They were actually included with a box of purchase of the 8/11's. I believe the Padilla rep said they would be priced just under the 1932's

Re: Padilla 1948
Wow you guy's are fast to get your hand's on pre-release cigars! Yes, these are made by Pepin in Nicaragua and YES they are new!
The Padilla 1948 will be released at this years industry trade show the R.T.D.A. Price points are Robusto $ Torpedo $9.20 Churchill $9 last but not least Lancero $8.60 of course that is pricing without local and state tax-gotta keep the states in business you know! As for the blend- what do you think? Pepin and Cuban seed fillers and wrappers and you can't go wrong but why another Pepin stick? Because he has so much to do as far as blends and the way he process tobacco that is unique- he is the Michael Jordan of cigars. Let me know what you think. so glad to see you participating here! Could you please do me a favor and write or email my friend Joe R. ("carbonbased_al" here on the board.) He constantly whines that you used to email him, send him samples, and ask for his input. I guess he feels neglected now; I just want him to stop whining how "he never emails me anymore" anytime I bring up your brand. ![]() On a more serious note my favorite local B&M store has dropped your lines. Two Brothers Cigars in Plano, Texas. I really like the Habano, Hybrid, and Miami lines and will miss seeing your boxes there. I still have the Sir Elliot's stores to get your cigars at but would really like you to have Rick selling your cigars again. I believe you spend some time in Fort Worth so it isn't a long drive for you to go rough him up! ![]() Thanks! -Matt- |

Re: Padilla 1948
I'm particularly interested in this new one because I was born in 1948. Y'see, I can tell people that the cigar comemorizes that event!
![]() If they are as tasty as the Sigs, I WANT A BOX!!! ![]() *sigh*
