Caliber III/NO salt test!
I just received my new (and first) Caliber III. Wonder why they don't want you to perform a salt test. Big letters - NO! Run from folks that tell you to.

I have tested 3 of them, every six months, for a few years with no problems. I think it is just a disclaimer regarding thier legal responsibilities.

Being an electrical engineer, I personally dont want electrolytic solutions (salt water) anywhere near my sensing electronics under any circumstances.

Well, hell...I guess it's my dime so I can do what I want to with it. I did read a lot of posts and it seems lots of folks do salt test them. YMMV.

BTW, got it here for about the cheapest price I've found. $19.99 + $6.34 SH = $26.33. (not an paid endorser, just a consumer)
