Afghanistan Bound...For The Troops
Since I'm just about to take a respite from the "Cigars For The Troops" project for a while I thought I would post a pic of what's going out in the morning for the 82nd Airborne Troopers serving in Afghanistan.
Mike "squid" & Dave "68TriShield" can still use all the help they can get in providing sticks and other items for the troops. I know from personal experience what it means to receive a package from back in the "World". And a recent letter from Lt. Fera serving there spelled that out clearly when he talked about how the package he recently received had really lifted the spirits of both himself and his men. So if you have not got involved I encourage to jump in with a few sticks. Back in my "Nam" days packages waiting in the rear or coming out on a chopper always brought a smile to everyone's face.  papahohn Last edited by papajohn67; 11-07-2007 at 07:38 PM.. |
