Anyone ever hear of these? Wonder if they would be worth it? This is from cigarbid.

handsome Dominican handmade. This deal was made possible
by a trademark dispute which is forcing liquidation of
the manufacturer's existing Bamboo inventory and future
re-packaging.

Packed in boxes of 20, there are only 150 boxes available.
The starting bid is a mere $19.95 - compared to the normal
$80 per box MSRP.

I have had the Vesuvio (5-ish by 34) and North Beach (54 x 5")... both were OK-ish, but I really wouldn't put much love into them. I found them pretty boring, very little going on for flavor, and almost nothing for strength.

Personally, for a buck a stick I would smoke any number of things over these, most likely the FdO's that are consistently (and rightly) praised on here.

Also, if you are looking for some mild inexpensive sticks, the Devil is currently hawking quite a few boxes of Professor Sila's - I like these much better than the Bamboo as well. The Sumatra wraps I had were quite good for a VERY low price.

Thanks. Won't even bother looking at those Bamboos then. Sounds like I'm better off with Flor de Olivas.
