I was having kind of a down day since the passing of one of my childhood heroes this morning (Phil Rizzuto). I saw the original post for the newbie give-a-way but I stayed out since I'm not a newbie to cigars (been smoking them since the early 90's) and although not rich by any stretch of the imagination, I can pretty much walk into a B+M and not worry too much about the cost of trying out a new a stick or two.

Having said that, the generosity of this fellowship has really turned my day around. The idea that in this selfish day and age, some one who you've never met will pick you up and and give you a friendly jump-start with nothing expected in return really restores my faith in my fellow man.

Kudos to PapaJohn and all the BOTLs in this Jungle.
