Have you ever wanted a pet monkey?

I have a friend who is interested in a pet monkey. She is an older gal and wants a companion, I told her get a dog. She asked me to look at some websites about care and stuff since she does not use the internet. I found a lot of information, but a lot of scary stuff as well. It did not surpise me, but look at this:

I got a buddy that has a pet Capuchin Monkey, he said its a 24x7 pet, kinda like a 2 yo that never grows up, and it will fling poop at ya if you dont change his diaper right away !

Yep. Wanted one as a kid. Now, not so much. The biting and poo flinging are not for me.

Anyway, as a child I wanted a monkey as well. I think most kids do, but after looking at those photos their is NO way I'd ever get a monkey. Did you guys read the stories? Like about the ladie who was bit and scratched 31 times? Her husband had to hit the monkey with a bat? I'd have put a hydra-shok in that crazy ass monkey after I knocked it off her.

Monkeys can get nasty. Back in college I used to do electrical work, and I worked on a guy's house that had a big one (I'm not sure what kind) that would try to reach through the bars of the cage and grab you if you got too close. We kept a shotgun in the truck during that job, in case the monkey got loose.

When I was younger I thought they looked cool, I even saw the really little ones that grew only 12 inches tall. But did I ever want one? no they stink and they look crazy and not trustworthy like some humans I know.
