Kayak I think you can find what you are looking for quite inexpensively if its re enactment head wear and not have to trade a muzzleloader for it.

Mike Moore In Memphis can make you something you can wear on the cheap and so can Ron Hamilton in Crossville TN.

Thank you Darryl .. for your kind words. We are not looking however for biz just having some fun with hats. Several months behind the way it is now. Sure do not want to have to fit in any rush orders from new folks as we are chauk full with old customers.

I think it all went out with the peach colored hats. Lets bring it back: ( hope I did not post this already) .

Re: Taking cover.... Do you wear a hat?

Another thing that ticks me off regarding heads covered during the National Anthem is when watching a baseball game or a football game, the players take off their hats or helmets but leave on those doo caps. This is the same as wearing a hat. The only men who should have covered heads are those in uniform who are saluting during the Anthem.

I'll wear a hat when I am golfing and driving the ski boat.. Usually a ski hat when I'm golfing and a golf hat when I'm driving.. Go figure...

Have a couple of straw fedoras that I wear on certain herfs. Nothing top quality, but I will probably look into getting one of those sometime.

Take a look at the Filson hats I posted. I have one that's about 12/14 years old now that just can't be killed. It's water repellent - made for use in the rain, snow, etc - even used it once to give my dog some water, you can crush them, stuff them in a bag and they keep on going. Frumpy is the word I would use to describe them - they only look like the picture until you use them - LOL

Here is a classic example of marketing and communication failures.

Filson Waxed could have been King and dropped the ball almost completly.

Tilley is a marketing genius and has won the hearts of the world.

No caps, and in winter a fedora if it's cold.

Hats make you bald.

Aw, shit.

Well sir its a good thing you did bald from the hats as I believe you to be a cranially endowed and with hair you would be buying them atorciously priced Borsalino Rabbit fur junk hats or custom as there is not many more would fit you me thinks.

Not sure of you size but I know we have fitted some big heads in our time and some of them full of brains as well. You can fit a lot more in a lager area and not squeeze the sense out of it eh?

8 is fair sized for sure. Not quite as Big as our DaveFord at 8 3/8 how ever and almost peanut sized in fact. We even have an 8 1/2 block now and I recall years ago when a big man flew in to NC to meet Jim Collins to make a flange special for him at size 9. Jim said you could have used it for a basket ball hoop.

8 huh and again the question begs Hats for cigars Pipes or anything of value have to rid these big ones to some big heads.
