Dual Exhaust Pictures

I finally got my car washed and cleaned up a little so I took some final pictures with my KS2 Dual Exhaust and Redskins Windrestictor. I can't take pictures of the windrestrictor lite up yet they had to send my cable and clamps in a seperate shipment and I should get it today or monday.

Windrestrictor and 3rd Brake Light Decal

Kappashere KS2. Notice I had to cut my valence on the left. I have a dual exhaust valence on order

Close up of the valence after I cut it

This is the side that is not cut

Do NOT take your car the car wash for at least a week after painting the calipers. This is what happend after over 24 hours of drying. The paint still came off when I sprayed the wheels. Will have to touch it up on Friday.

Re: Dual Exhaust Pictures

That looks great. Yeah, you need to wait at least a week before you take it to the wash. When I had my old Integra, I had my calipers powder coated. That's the way to go!

You should also be happy you swapped your exhaust out on a new car. On an older car, it can be a real bitch. Everything is rusty, I had to use a breaker bar onetime to get the bolts off my catalytic converter.

Once again, very nice.

My car only has about 1500 miles on it. Replacing the exhaust was very easy. About 30 minutes to take off the old exhaust and 30 minutes to get the new one on. It took me about an hour to cut the valence as I measured several times and made a template. Hopefully my new valence will be in next week.

Powder coating the calipers would be the way to go. How much did that run you.

This exhaust is only connected to the car with two bolts, then unscrew the O2 sensor from the exhaust pipe. The muffler hangs from 4 rubber hangers and pops right out.

They have a nice rumble sound at idle but not a loud annoying rice burner sound. sounds quiet when driving until you decide to gun the engine then it sounds mean.

Sound files are on this link

Looks great and must sound great.

We sell those at the dealership. That car bailed Pontiac out of a big slump.

That is a fun car to drive and you made it even better looking.

I keep reading stories about how the Solstice is bring Pontiac out of the slump. They did this car the right way. Everyone is made by hand.
