Apple is a great computer. Microsoft has spent a lot of time and money to get their software to work like Apples.

My wife has always had an Apple since she works for the public school system. I have always admired the lack of problems and ease of use.

I have stuck with the PC because that is what we use at work. That has always been a disadvantage of Apple mainly because of the dominance of the PC.

I think Apple was always a little over confident of their product and kept the price high thinking that marketing through schools would get them a leg up. Unfortunately that strategy did not work out well. Now the price point is very competitive and they are gaining market share.
