Apple got my money!

Well, I went out last night and went to the Apple store. I came home with $1300 less than I started with. I am now the proud owner of an Apple MacBook 2.16GHZ. I have been playing with it a few hours and I love it. Everything about this machine is great. I appreciate all the help everyone gave me on the Mac vs. PC thread I posted.

I am now a very proud Apple user.

My buddy just got a new mac laptop. He loves it. I think the coolest part is you can run windows as well as the mac operating system. I'm jealous. Enjoy!

Nice!! I'm still chugging along with my 12" Powerbook G4. One of these days I'll get the itch that I won't be able to stop and buy an Intel Mac.

Congratulations! You are not far from the garage where Apple got it's start. Yep, not very far from the "Mothership". When I lived in Los Gatos we would see the "Woz" in town now and again. I am not sure if you mentioned it but how much RAM did you get?

Ah, I am headed to the Apple store in Los Gatos today to get a case. They were out of them at the store at Oakridge Mall. I got 1GB of RAM.

Congrats!! It's not a computer it's a way of life. I know it's a bad thing to suggest since we are all apple diehards but if you need to run windows programs for work both parallels and bootcamp can be very usefull.
