I actually do make some of them, we grow our own tomatoes, Potatoes, onions, Bell peppers, Hot peppers of several different sorts, squash, Green Beans, Eggplant, lima beans, black eyed peas, and several others. I guess "making" groceries is a New Orleans type thing. My old boss used to talk about going to the store to "make groceries". hehe.
