Isle of Capri Regulating Alcohol Consumption

Just visited the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville MO. They have new signs posted that limit the purchase of alcohol to one drink every 1/2 hour.

I like going to this casino because it is the closest to my home and it is a fairly decent property.

Do not drink in the local casinos, mainly because in MO you have to purchase alcohol and soda and a cigar is just fine with me. Plus driving home drunk is a big no - no.

I was upset a first on the Casino limiting drinks, seemed kind of dumb. Go to Las Vegas quite a bit and drop more money on one dollar tips to the waitresses serving drinks then anything else. For me, booze, gambling and smoking is one of the finer things in life. Plus you can safely walk to your hotel room and everyone is happy!

Unfortunately the casinos feel they have to do everything they can to protect the fools that can't handle the combination of alcohol and gaming. Their afraid some dummy will loose all their money and then drive home and kill someone. Of course this would be the casinos fault.

Still is irks me when they have to set a rule to protect the dumb a$$, which only limits what the responsible people can do if they so desire.

People don't take responsibility for their actions and they use booze as a scapegoat for their own stupidity and irresponsibility. That's why stupid rules like this get put into place.
