I'll be doing a clean install on my brand spanking new 160GB hard drive later this afternoon. Having spoken to several folks who have taken the plunge already it seems that there have been few if any issues so far.

Just got done with the upgrade. Sooooo nice. Got to the Apple store around 2:30pm and waited until 6pm. Pretty boring, but I got my free T-shirt

Alright the blue balls (the little app indicators at the bottom) are pissing me off. And my hissing is back which was solved by having a bluetooth item (in my case a wireless mighty mouse) on. Quicklook is a little buggy with some of my .wmv files. Otherwise still messing around with it.

P.S. Is there any way to export all of my Bookmarks from Firefox then import them into Safari?

Ok Spaces is awesome. Helps out with the blue ball situation somewhat.

Also in 10.4 in Mail when you were getting mail that little circular thingy did its thing. Now thats gone. I liked it.

yes.

Open FF:

Bookmark menu --> "Organize bookmarks..." (pops up "Bookmark Manager")

File --> Export...


Then in Safari:

File --> "Import Bookmarks..."


That should do it for you.

Spaces does rock.

As for mail, click the triangle next to "Inbox" to expand the inbox to show you your different accounts. You'll see the circle progress thingy again.
