Glad to hear the installs are going smoothly.
I didn't see anything in Leopard that made me jump out of my seat and run to the nearest Apple store to pick up a copy. I'll stick with Tiger for now and wait to hear more about user experiences with the new OS.

Re: Apple Releasing Leopard Next Friday!!!

OK ... the biggest thing for me so far is the improved responsiveness and, yes, speed of Leopard compared to Tiger. I'm experiencing noticeable gains on my Intel Core 2 Duo MacBoo, my 12" G4 PowerBook, and G4 PowerMac Sabertooth (upgraded "sawtooth" AGP model). All of the computers accepted "archive and installs" just fine.

Aside from the responsiveness, speed, and overall refined quality of the GUI (just "feels" good), the key features for me are the easy screen sharing (I have to troubleshoot my wife's computer from 640 miles away), native notes & to dos in Mail.app, a much better Spotlight (fuller boolean searches, faster, etc.), Spaces, and QuickLook (not just a gimmick -- really helpful in daily use).

Anyway, that's my for now....

I love it! My new 20" iMac Core 2 Duo just screams along with this newer, sleeker, leaner OS.

I've also noticed a marked improvement in speed and responsiveness. I could never say this about a windows upgrade.

The only odd thing I've noticed is that the trackpad on my MacBook has been acting funny. Might have to check some more settings.
