Well the bands were picked and we didn't make it. Sadly it appears the contest was rigged, at least that's my assumption. There were four bands that won a spot on the tour, we had at least about twice as many plays as the band with the most plays that won, two of the others only had 100 or less, and one of the bands we couldn't even find on the Battle of the Bands site. Somehow they won a spot without even entering the contest. The judges of the competiton are band members of bigger bands, so it would make sense that they might favor or know people from bands who they would already have picked.

Anyway, thanks for all the effort- we half guessed this would be the case but who knows what went on. It's hard to say.
