In Memory of edisonbird
Today would have been Rick's 58th Birthday. A great BOTL who unfortunately was pretty sick by the time I joined in Feb. 05.
I imagine he is in heaven now, smoking a San Luis Rey PC with the Big Guy.

I just went back and looked at some threads from our fellow BOTL that have gone on. Nice to remembers those we once knew and loved. Thanks for the reminder hog.

I feel very fortunate to have gotten the chance to reads his posts back when I was just starting out with cigars and on CS. He was a wealth of information and a great outlook on life, even at the end.

I ran into edisonbird's posts before when I searched for different topics. It seems he stopped posting long before I arrived here. I too went back and looked at what he contibuted. In addition to his love of cigars, he seemed to be someone who loved jokes and loved to laugh.
Didn't realize he had passed away ... hope his wife is still in remission. I'm glad he is still listed as a member and honored to be in his jungle.

Definately remember reading his edisonador thread through and through when trying to decide how to fight this LA heat. Didnt know about his passing but have done some research and read the threads. Very sorry to find out about it all. Prayers sent to his family even tho they may be late. I will light up something nice for Rick tonight. I may not know him now but Im sure we will meet up sometime...

We were talking to Gary throughout the final days of his life. He was a genuine fella that just loved life, friends and family. If you've been here for a bit, you had the chance to help out a friend in need. That bombing run was very special.
58... what a shame to lose someone so special so early in life. Rick, we haven't heard from Gary. Gonna send him an email and see how he's doing. I'll let you know when I hear back from him.
